Sculpture Culture

lyrics

You can't keep ignoring us,
Like a novel without a lead role,
You call it a simple twist,
When in fact it's just a plot hole.
You can't keep ignoring us,
Like a novel without a lead role,
You call it a simple twist,
When in fact it's just a plot hole.

Innocence is bliss my friend,
And we're a mark you can't ignore,
I'm just trying to put the pieces back,
To where they were before,
This sculpture culture lack of thought,
That I think we all adore,
But our books have more than cover prints,
So put down Biff and Chip,
Let's read something more mature.

Correction is not my strong point,
But I think you'd say the same,
These paper trails remind me of mistakes I should've made,
These plot twists are points I've missed,
And for that I feel ashamed,
The chords behind these words are proof,
That there's an effort and an aim.

Innocence is bliss my friend,
And we're a mark you can't ignore,
I'm just trying to put the pieces back,
To where they were before,
This sculpture culture lack of thought,
That I think we all adore,
But our books have more than cover prints,
So put down Biff and Chip,
Let's read something more mature.
